FOWEY RIVER

BOAT HIRE

Forget the car ... pop over to Fowey or Polruan for a meal or drink. Or maybe just sit on a mooring in the evening sun. A boat adds a new dimension to a holiday.  We will arrange delivery of the boat to a mooring at, or near your holiday home.

There are many miles of beautiful river to explore from the busy harbour at its mouth to the little town of Lerryn at its navigable limit. 

​

Its character changes from bustle to tranquility. Visit the waterside villages of Golant or Lerryn.

Take a picnic on a secluded grassy bank or tiny beach or just relax and enjoy being on the water.

​

The tidal river is well known for salmon and sea trout, bass, pollack, mullet and flounders.


There is ample scope for the expert and the novice.
Plenty of helpful local information is available if required

Our stay near Fowey was greatly enhanced by having a boat for the week. Maurice provides a brilliant service, delivery and super training - we couldn’t have asked for more and loved using the boat to get around from place to place as well just for cruising and fishing. Thanks to Maurice a great holiday was even better!
